The most common form of cancer among young adult men is testicular cancer. Therefore, it is important that young men check their testicles once in a while. To communicate the message to the target group of young men, we made a campaign in cooperation with the best soccer team in Sweden, IFK Göteborg (that is our opinion). The campaign began during their game against AIK. We made three short films together with some of the players in the team that were shown before and after the game and at half time. Ung Cancer was also represented with a number of volunteers during the game to inform the fans about the "Check your testicles" project. The films were also shown on Ung Cancer's website and on their social channels.
Ung Cancer is a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of young adults who are suffering from cancer aged 16–30. Nobody should ever have to feel alone. Ung Cancer works with information, training and advocacy together with those who suffer from cancer and their friends and family, but also with governments, healthcare and other sectors of society.
