An identity that draws its inspiration from seaweed and mussel shells

Aoki was asked to update the hotel's profile form an expression that many associated with the medical sector for an identity that would convey freedom, togetherness and being close to nature. It was a complex task because Varbergs Kusthotell requested an identity that could be applied to many different entities and contexts, ranging from communication to products. We chose to use the strong connection to the sea and the tradition of wellbeing. 

Varbergs Kusthotell

Varbergs Kusthotell started life as a health spa in the early 1900s. Today it is a modern hotel with a Thalassothearapy spa, generous conference facilities and an inviting restaurant. As in previous times, the hotel offers salt water bathing, fresh air and proximity to the beach.
